In honor of Twin Peaks, I’m having a damn fine cup of coffee.

I do that every day!
Never really enjoyed a slice of cherry pie with it, though. Just not a pie guy.

One of the greatest TV opening and themes ever! Remember that this show was shown in prime time on ABC. I think we can safely say that will never happen again.

Who killed Laura Palmer? :|

Dam auto correct, I know I wrote killed but I guess the AI doesn’t like that word. Jeesh.

The final issue of the Blue Rose Magazine can be ordered now.

Quote:
Issue #18: The Final Issue

“It is happening again … For the last time.” The Blue Rose magazine is getting the band back together for one final encore. With the passing of David Lynch, we are back for a tribute final issue. There is no reason for us to continue covering the world of Twin Peaks without half the creative team that brought the town to life.

This will be an extra long issue.

Issue 18 will include:

Kyle MacLachlan sits down for the final Blue Rose interview to talk about Lynch’s Legacy, Agent Cooper, and how he created Dougie.

Scott Ryan interviews Jennifer Lynch about her father’s legacy in a heartfelt talk.

John Thorne on the life of David Lynch.

Courtenay Stallings interviews Lynch’s first wife, Peggy Reavey about the Art Life and talks with Sabrina Sutherland about working with David Lynch.

Scott Ryan writes about the ending of each of David Lynch’s major film and television works.

Comic book artist Jeff Lemire draws a new piece of art in tribute to David Lynch for our centerfold.

Matt Marrone writes an anatomy of a scene with Laura Dern and David Lynch in Inland Empire.

Em Marinelli writes about the therapeutic benefits of mourning someone that you never actually met in real life and how this applies to Lynch fans who are suffering with the passing.

Steven Miller writes about the connections between Lynch’s art and his films.

This Issue will be a limited run, so order now as we won’t be able to order extra copies. We also will not be offering any refunds, returns, or re-mails if your mail man is a jerk or you change your mind. This is our final rodeo. It has been so much fun to give you 18 issues and we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have.

My copy arrived today. I've always enjoyed reading about Twin Peaks. Maybe Mark Frost will pen another Twin Peaks book? Hope so.

I've been obsessed with Lynch lately. Rewatching the films, watching his short films on his YouTube channel, listening to his music and the soundtracks to the films. He produced so much.

This interview with David Cronenberg, conducted by Jim Jarmusch, touches on Lynch as they heard about his death just prior to talking to each other. Like, minutes before.

Just watched the documentary, David Lynch: The Art Life. He reflects on his early life while we watch him sitting and smoking, working on his multimedia art projects, sitting quietly and smoking, hanging out with his young daughter, and then some more sitting and smoking. You can sense he was a pretty private person and I think the director probably had to shoot weeks worth of footage to get this 88 minute film. If you aren't a fan of Lynch, this is unlikely to sway you, but fascinating for the converted.

There was something like that here back in 2020 before covid took over. Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee were here and the theater had Fire Walk with Me on the big screen. The show was presented by Blue Rose Magazine.
