Live Favourites is a soundboard recording of a Brinsley Schwarz performance at the Top Rank in Cardiff, Wales from June 1974. The album first made the rounds several years ago as a limited run CDR from the group's fan club. In 2015 it was finally released officially, but only 250 vinyl copies were pressed. Now it will be getting a full general release as a real factory-pressed CD.

I have the CD-R of this show. Good performance and the sound is satisfactory.
Unfortunately their regular drummer, Billy Rankin, was unable to play that evening.
The drummer is Pick Withers from DIre Straits. He does fine but he had tough shoes to fill.
Brinsleys gave us Nick Lowe, 2 members of Graham Parker's Rumour and solid singer songwriter
Ian Gomm, who went up to release several solo records.
But BIlly Rankin's drumming made them a great band, both on record and live.
