I'm curious to find out the track list for this. Since Richard Carpenter holds firm on not releasing any vault material, it won't contain anything "new." I wonder if this will the same standard dozen or so hits (of which there are already tons of compilations) or some sort of themed collection of album cuts. This is most likely as cash-in on the recent Karen Carpenter documentary that aired in the UK.

i own the dutch 3cd Ultimate Collection from about a decade ago -
beautifully remastered album versions, chronological (mostly), comprehensive,
and most importantly: these are the original NON-RICHARD REMIXED VERSIONS.

buyer beware with so much out there now not being the original versions of our favorite CARPENTERS classics.

RackleNut is referring to the 3-CD "Ultimate Collection" released by Universal Netherlands. Note that the release mentions "Digitally remastered" on the cover. It is 32-bit floating point mastered.

Thank you, Linda, for updating my post with the cover images and U.K. links. I have a handful of these "Ultimate Collection" Netherlands releases. They all feature 32-bit floating point mastering and generally sound great (although some suffer from brick-walling). All the covers have the "Digitally remastered" stamp on the front. I've been debating on adding a Carpenters release to my collection for a while now. Perhaps I'll pick up "Collected"...

Bump with a couple of updates: the Nation's Favourite compilation has been pushed back to September 30th, and we now have the tracklist up in the first post.
