Alton McClain & Destiny come from the late '70s/early '80s era of soul, disco, boogie and rare grooves, accommodating all of these in her first two albums presented here. 'It Must Be Love' and 'Crazy Love' are timeless disco classics, the latter from the LP More Of You, never previously on CD alongside her classic duet with Johnny Bristol 'Hang On In There Baby'. The album It Must Be Love is exactly the same as an album Alton McClain & Destiny released a few months earlier in a different sleeve. Alton McClain was married to the late songwriting genius Skip Scarborough and currently raises money for charity through the Skip Scarborough Foundation. She is taking a break in September 2016 to perform in the UK for the very first time Friday 30th September at London's Brooklyn Bowl within the O2 arena.
