I only have one SAHB album on vinyl and several others on MP3s copied from a friend's CDs, and I love everything I've heard. For the right price I will consider picking this up, but having just preordered that 60-CD Elvis box set will make it hard to part with any more cash (for now).

When Soldier On the Wall was prepared for cd - they only had the master tapes for on side of the lp - the other side was dine via a needle drop.

To me this is a no brainer - maybe cleaner transfers - maybe putting more than one lp on a disc so they can cram all of this in the box.

Should have looked at the cover - AH & his Soul Band is included.

Looking at the picture there are five pre SAHB discs, between the Soul Band, the Roman Wall a Blues, Ice Cold, Teenage a go go and the Joker is Wild that can fill five discs. Next I can make out each of the major releases with expanded...maybe Impossible Dream has both versions of the lp. The live album could have more of that concert. The b sides and No Complaints Department could easily fill in the other titles along with some live cuts of the period. As I recall when the catalog was first issued the lp Four Play and the Penthouse tapes were all spread over the other releases as bonus tracks.
The last disc could be both the Mafia Stole My Guitar and Soldier on the Wall on one disc.

My preorder cost is 81.22 pounds

What it has - it excels in. All the SAHB main albums....all the B-sides - what appears to be the rest of the tracks recorded for the live lp........the unreleased tribute to his brother Les who died on stage - No Complaints Department
