Description
Two original albums on one CD released at mid-price.

Of the major sixties soul stars WILSON PICKETT produced some of the biggest hits of that era including hits like ‘In the Midnight Hour’, ‘Land of a Thousand Dances’, and Mustang Sally.

In the mid seventies he recorded a number of albums for RCA Records

‘Pickett in the Pocket’ was originally released in 1974, and featured the track ‘Take Your Pleasure Where You Find It’ by Paul Butterfield and Bobby Charles.

The follow up album ‘Join Me and Let’s Be Free’ was originally released in 1975. Amazingly in this day and age, this is the first time these albums have been released on CD.

Regarding the description above, it's the first time these two albums have been released on CD in the UK, however, Pickett's complete RCA recordings were compiled on a domestic CD a month earlier by the Real Gone label:
