Good to see that Jeff Jones and Crapple Crowd are hard at work getting unreleased music out to fans and not worrying about stupid, pointless, useless crap. Oh. Wait......

Boy, this was a missed opportunity for some cool action figures--no Brian Epstein? No Ringo variant/chase figure (playing chess instead of playing drums)? No George Martin in a white lab coat? No see-through "Spirit Of Pete Best" mailaway exclusive? No "Paul's Grandfather"? No assorted Apple scruffs? No Magic Alex? Think about it--a whole Abbey Road Studios playset!

What about the unreleased Abbey Road 5.1 mix?

The see-through "Spirit of Pete Best" thing made me laugh....but no matching Stu Sutcliffe?

i have come to the realization that, whoever is in control, with the beatles catalog, there will be releases of some type forever.

there is so much more that they can do, not including the still unreleased on CD stuff (hollywood bowl, rarities, etc) with reissues, remastered, re-whatever.....like jimi hendrix and the doors, as long people keep buying, they will keep releasing.

The Beatles (Pual And Ringo) and their representatives (Olivia and Yoko) are in control of what Beatle material gets released.

Would love to see the Anthology series be re-mastered in Hi-def on Blu-ray.

They should have an action figure of Ringo playing his drum solo. It's only about 15 seconds long, so they should be able to make it work.

Hmm...how about a "Hamburg 3-Pack" with Stu, Astrid Kirchherr, and Klaus Voormann?

Since "blind box" figures are generally in a black bag within the box, there should be a chase figure of Yoko so that you can play-act Yoko practicing Bagism.

I'd much rather see this as a BluRay with high res Stereo & 5.1, videos, bonus tracks and all that.

How much time and energy does it take to put a CD and a toy in the same box? That's all this is, two separate products bundled together. Hell, Apple may not even have had anything to do with this.

I want unheard material and Let it Be on DVD and a release of the Christmas fan club records and... as much as the next guy, but come on. Amazon sending out an action figure with an Abbey Road CD is not the roadblock to any of those.

Part of me wonders if this isn't intended to goose sales of "Abbey Road", as there is no mono version of the album to push on collectors.
