I am not sure of the story behind these releases. Haven't seen any news or mention of them, just stumbled on the listings on Amazon. These three albums have been unavailable for a long time, but there does not appear to be any info on whether they are remastered, or what they are sourced from.

I have good memories of the "Trash It Up" record, because I saw the Jukes perform at my college on that tour. I believe it has never been on CD before or was an extremely limited release, same with "In The Heat". Southside's website offered an official download of "In The Heat" about ten years ago, and around five years ago his site also sold pressed CD copies of the long out-of-print 1986 album, cleverly retitled "At Last We Have Shoes".

I ordered and just received this new CD of "In The Heat", but there is no mastering info anywhere on the sleeve or disc, only that it was "MADE IN CANADA". It is not a CD-R, on a positive note. I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, but as I recall the original album's sound was not all that great to start out with. I should know more later, and whenever my new copy of "Trash It Up" arrives.

Southside won't play anything from this album live anymore. Not his fave.
