Description NEW REMASTERED CD 4 BONUS TRACKS: 2 SINGLES, Dreams of Milk And Honey and Long Red plus the B-sides. 16-PAGE BOOKLET WITH LINER NOTES BY MALCOLM DOME WITH QUOTES FROM LESLIE WEST. In the world of rock guitar, Leslie West has that distinctive sound and tone that is unmistakable and unique. He gained worldwide fame during his long career as one of the world's top electric guitarists and one of the most innovative musicians in the history of rock music - with such legends as Eddie Van Halen, Michael Schenker and Richie Sambora citing him as an influence on their own music, and roll call that includes recording or playing with a host of icons, including The Who, Van Halen, Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. However, he is most noted for his role as leader of the explosive Mountain, one of the all-time great Hard Rock bands, and this 1969 solo album's title lent its name to the band that was to follow and dominate the US scene, including an appearance the same year at Woodstock. The album features Cream collaborator and bassist Felix Pappalardi and spotlights West's raw vocals and his melodic, bluesy guitar style, pumped along by Pappalardi's bass lines.Tracklist 1. Since I can't get to my cd's right now; wasn't there an expanded USA issue of this at one time? I'm sure I have a studio Blood Of The Sun & a studio Milk & Honey on a cd somewhere in my collection. Per Amazon, they are on Over The Top from 1995 (which I have); but I thought I already had an expanded version of this. Oh well, I'll know in a couple weeks when I unpack my cd's. Long Red is also on Over The Top (3 of the 4)
