This certainly is a very good collection, but given the third disc's "rare tracks" label, it's worth noting that there is nothing here from his days with Warm Dust, and these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all of Carrack's rarities. Not that it would be necessary on a set like this, but there are also no tracks from his 2005 Xmas LP.
The biggest disappointment to me is the omission of both "Romance," the Terri Nunn duet from the soundtrack to "Sing," which was released as a single in many territories, and his duet with Beth Nielsen Chapman, "In The Time It Takes," which reached the Top 25 on the Billboard AC chart back in the '90s.
I think there are still a few Carrack b-sides ("Tailfinder" among them) that have only been issued on vinyl, too, so those would have been nice to have on CD for the first time. Same for the 2011 Xmas single, "Thinking About You (This Christmas)," which I believe has only been released as a download.
[Lord, how we love to pick apart collections like this, huh?
