Almost looks like one of those weird bargain-type comps (e.g., the old 3-disc "36 Greatest Hits" collections) with the curious tune stack and odd 15 tracks per disc count. The discs won't be anywhere close to being full. I am guessing that this is an extension of the WEA "Definitive" 2 CD sets that were always disappointing versus Sony (and later Sony/BMG's) "Essential" series and Universal's "Gold" series. I think the WEA "Definitive" series always had the 15 tracks per disc, 30 songs total format for some odd reason.

All great tracks, but any Linda Ronstadt compilation that doesn't include "When Will I Be Loved", "Tracks Of My Tears", and "That'll Be The Day" has to be crap. "When Will I Be Loved" and "That'll Be The Day" were always on the radio and are two of her best rockers.

The cover is awesome. I'd also have liked to see "Lose Again" included. Hell, she opened shows with that Karla Bonoff song even if it wasn't a big hit!

Funny that the name of the album is "Just One Look". A better name would have been "Just One Look... Every Two Seconds".

yesiree, she was something to look at for sure.

the picture on the cover of her 'duets' album is just stunning.

never got to see her live and really wish i would have.

I saw her twice. Most memorably at the legendary Troubadour with Emmylou Harris when the fantastic Western Wall was released.

It was beyond memorable. Although she seemed to be ill-prepared at times, often relying on printed lyric sheet, her vocals soared. And to be up against the stage at the Troubadour is one of the best places to see a show.
