I'll be getting the second in the series (Barnet Dogs/Into The Fire) having already bought the first. The BGO are better sounding than the Renaissance.

i'd gladly settle for and actually prefer just a nice one-disc, remastered, comprehensive anthology

You answered my question. I have all of the Renaissance discs. They sound OK to me, but they're so cheaply made.

This one has a few non-album tracks, and it's cheap.

I ordered the 3-fer-1 and should have it in a a few days.

I hope they will be able to release "Russ Ballard (1984)" and "The Fire Still Burns" as another 2-fer.

Thanks, but that's the Renaissance, that I already have.

BTW, I just got the "Russ Ballard/Winning/At The Third Stroke" BGO release, and it does sound better than the Renaissance. I have since ordered the second one.

Your right about the label. I have the "Russ Ballard" and "The Fire Still Burns" UK EMI, that must have confused me.

I need to get the second one as well. Next month for sure!
