I can recall my Dad playing Hot August Night seemingly incessantly while I was a teenager. I didn't care much about it at the time, but I'd like to kind of revisit this guy's work, and a 'best of' compilation would be the ideal way to do it.

A solid single CD comp. The solo version of "Flowers" is hardly "rare," it's from I'm Glad You're Here With Me Tonight. Couldn't possibly squeeze all his hits on one disc, but I'm suprised they left off "Heartlight." "Morningside" was never a single, but it's a beautiful song.

Oh, by the way, I already got this.

I got this compilation when it came out about three years ago, and the track list is nearly the same. I was nice to finally get a "greatest hits" collection of his that didn't include live versions of hit studio recordings.
