"We came for the first time to South America in 1990. The magic hit us like lightning. Later on we wrote about you in Enlightened. There is an undeniable energy and joy of living in Latin America and we love being there.

For a band that creates the music we do, we were surprised and astounded in the resonance our music seems to have in Latin Americans. In spite of the evident language barrier and of the "English-ness" of our sound, we believe there is something in the truth and passion it contains that you instinctively capture.

Our shows in Central and South America are always received with a special sentiment. Words like "passion" and "soul" are cliché but are the only ones that can define it.

As was expected therefore, we have committed ourselves to coming back regularly to our dear Latin America and we want to launch this special CD with our favorite songs from our time together. These songs have been chose by the five of us.

If you have been a Marillion fan for a long time, we thank you for your faith. If you are new, welcome to a better way of life! There is much more music to discover...

See you soon."

This was essentially self-produced and then licensed for release to various labels throughout South America to promote the band's 2014 tour. My copy is on Mundo Records and was manufactured in Argentina.

TK, Are the 5 re-recordings worth the price with shipping (cheapest on Amazon US right now would be $11.32 for those like me who pay sales tax & don't have prime.)

Even as a fan these are absolutely non-essential save for completists... they're more of the "note for note" style of re-recordings rather than new interpretations, which leaves the Hogarth-sung version of "Kayleigh" as the only real curio. It's not a bad little compilation for around ten bucks, but I wouldn't put it at the top of your priority list.

It's dropped to $4.40 + shipping on Amazon new from a 3rd party. I'm debating........

I'll admit as a buyer, I prefer ebay's $2.99 shipping cap. As a seller, it makes little difference as Amazon keeps a large portion of the extra $.

This title is unfortunately ridiculously expensive on ebay, though.
