As per Pitchfork.

Quote:
This year, the Pixies' seminal album Doolittle celebrates its 25 anniversary. To mark the occasion, the band has announced Pixies: Doolittle 25, an expanded version of the LP compiling all of the B-sides, demos, and radio recordings associated with the album's sessions - nearly half of which have never seen commercial release. It's out December 2 in North America (December 1 internationally) on 3xCD, 2xLP, or digitally.

Doolittle 25 features 50 tracks: the original album, two Peel Sessions, six B-sides, the entire album's demos, and seven bonus tracks.

I had the old Elektra CD and there was hardly any bass. I hope they fix that.

Check out the MOFI Hybrid SACD for the best sounding version of Doolittle. Bass and Kick drum are defined and fuller sounding than the original cd release. I still might get this release for the extras.

Always annoyed me that the official Pixies Peel CD release is missing so many Peel tracks. This releases goes a little way towards rectifying that...

+1 on both accounts. The MFSL SACDs are great and with the bonus material on this reissue looks like a winner. The "Bossanova" MFSL is my personal favorite. Such killer sound!
