From The Second Disc:
"While a track list has not been unveiled, an official website confirms these details for Timeless Flight:
11 remastered CDs, each “featuring key album tracks, previously unreleased mixes, outtakes and complete live concerts.” Based on this admittedly confusing description, it doesn’t sound like complete albums will be included, although that could be totally off the mark.
Three DVDs including “rare television performances from around the world, promotional videos and the previously unreleased live concert from Olympia, Paris in 1970″
Three more DVD audio discs featuring 5.1 surround mixes of the band’s complete Deram Records discography Days of Future Passed, On the Threshold of a Dream, To Our Children’s Children’s Children (1969), A Question of Balance, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour and Seventh Sojourn (1972). These mixes were released in the mid-2000s and have been out-of-print for years.
A 120-page hardcover book of liner notes, including an essay by Moody Blues aficionado Mark Powell and rare and unreleased photos
Replicas of “full colour tour poster and discography” as well as a press packet
A specially-designed fabric patch
An as-yet unconfirmed limited edition variant of the box will also be available from Universal Music Group’s U.K. web store. We’ll share further details once we get closer to the box’s June 3 release date, so keep it here until then!"

I remember John Lodge making a remark about this upcoming box set containing unreleased tracks. Glad it this summer and not the fall/Christmas season for release.

I have all the surround mixes that were released and I wasn't to impressed. Sounds like Hayward No-Noised the life out of them. My European Deram and MFSL's are still my go to discs for the Moody Blues.

With that said I will be interested to see what is contained in the set.

Wow...

This has probably been discussed before elsewhere, but I'd be curious as to why "In Search of the Lost Chord" was left out of the DVD surround mixes, there's probably a simple obvious reason...

I have that 1983 show on cassette somewhere from a radio broadcast-a very good one from what I remember and this is the full show.

Oh yeah-no way in balls I'm paying $200 or $300 for this so there will be some timeless flight before I ever get it!

Good Lord, I want this. But $350??? That might require a stiff drink — or two or three — before hitting that "Proceed to Checkout" button.

I am interested but the cost is too high for me. I am sure it will drop.

The master tapes are missing (or something to that effect).

Will be monitoring the price on this, but I can't imagine it'll ever get low enough for me to bite the bullet. Perhaps if it's ever below $100, but that's highly unlikely. About a year or two ago I finished collecting the original seven albums in their 2008 UK single disc expanded editions, so the selling points for me are the surround mixes and the other DVDs.

Maybe I'll get lucky down the road with a Pop Market deal but this set is way to expensive for me. Understand there is all lot of stuff here BUT $300.00 is mucho dollars for anything these days. I was hoping for more studio outakes or unreleased studio tracks from the Classic 7 timeframe but alas their must not be any.

I think the asterisked tracks are those that appear on the 4 CD edition.

Much too pricey even for me. Not that I need anymore Moodies around here. I have the surround SACDs and all the albums on CD etc.

it can't possibly sound better than the MFSL's.
