Let's hope this makes it to market. I'm running out of reissues to buy.

There were a number of non-lp b-sides and 12" remixes that would make appropriate bonus tracks.

Sure wish they'd include the "Black Rain Falls" show on the dvd.
Guess they'll save that for the Blu Sky Mine re-issue. One of my
favorite bands. Great live shows.

peace,

Truly one of the best live bands I've ever seen and I got to see them twice. Peter Garrett is one of the best frontmen ever. I was so disappointed when they didn't reunite at the Live Earth show last summer, but I thought Ghostwriters were quite good-has anyone heard any albums by these guys? The band features a few ex-Midnight Oil members.
Also, have their albums been remastered down under? I know this "Diesel And Dust" release already came out down there.

I'll never buy or listen to this record again, sorry!

Diesel and Dust refers to the Road Trains we have here in Australia. A Road Train is a very large Truck we need to transport food etc to the out-back (Desert).

I got a promo today. Guess what--NO bonus audio at all in the package, just a remastered version of the original CD. Phooey. :sigh:

Midnight Oil rarely had any out-takes.

I interviewed Rob Hurst and worked with some of the members of the Oils. They were not as prolific recorders as you may expect.
