In 1985 The Cult enjoyed breakthrough success with the single "She Sells Sanctuary" and the album Love, establishing themselves as a new breed of Alternative rock band. When it came to recording a follow-up, the band booked into The Manor studios in Oxfordshire with Steve Brown again producing the album. The new tracks would become The Cult's third album, re-titled Electric, and a multi-million seller. It wasn't until the limited Rare Cult box set in 2000 that fans got to hear the full album, Peace, correctly sequenced. The box rapidly sold out so Peace has been unavailable for 13 years.

I must have this.

I love Electric and haven't had it on CD for years and now it comes with the other version of the album. I never had the expensive rare Cult box set so I am very much in and hope to see the tour in August in Philly.

I'm in as well. Two CD's for $12.00 which includes the much sought after "Peace" tracks. Great bargain.

I own the box set Rare Cult, the Peace tracks to me were a big let down, nothing like what became one of my favourite hard rock albums 'Electric'.
They lack the power of the Electric album. It was obvious why they were not released.
I saw The Cult on the tour that came after that album. Interestingly the next Album Sonic Temple was a let down for me expecting another Electric.
