For any casual fan, this is a really good comp covering the Geffen era of 1982-1990 and is either 9.99 on Amazon or just 3 lbs on AmazonUK.

Seems like a minor variation of this... which at one point was also available with a bonus DVD from Best Buy.

This is my fave compliation. All three Geffen albums with non-edited versions of SOLE SURVIVOR & HERE COMES THE FEELING, and the original track listing is kept throughout all 3 albums with the B-Sides appearing at the end of each respective album.

The above comp you mentioned is really, really good and I have the Best Buy version w/ the DVD which is long OOP. That was tied into the reunion tour in 2006.

This new one is nice as it includes a lot of cuts from Astra-no idea of the mastering, but the Definitive Collection from 2006 had totally different (and louder) mastering than the excellent Heat Of The Moment 1982-1990 comp from 2000.

Wow, I didn't know that Galley. I wonder what the mastering issues were?
That being what it is next time I see this used at my indie I will swap the one I posted. Like the photo of band better as well. :ohyes:

GOLD has some crossfades and edits to fit songs I believe and also has fewer songs than Anthologia (why?) but does fix some errors mastering-wise from Anthologia.

But GOLD has some problems too and a crappy cover (sorry-this photo is like most of the Gold series and looks cheap).
