This one irritates me a bit; last year I spent good money on a similar Raven Australia set that included "Michael Murphey/Lone Wolf//Peaks, Valleys, Honky Tonks & Alleys".

This one replaces MM with the superior Flowing Free Forever. So it looks like around $17 or so to get the one album. No clue how the mastering will compare as BGO is all over the place on mastering quality depending on the album.

This looks like an excellent set and I don't happen to have these three albums so I'm in.

Trivia...I'm actually related to MM or MMM (as he is these days) by marriage. I got a chance to meet him a few years back after a show and he gave me his mother's phone number. I ended up writing his parents a letter and we had a really nice mail exchange. In the end, really nice, quality guy from a nice family.

These days, he's occasionally doing trips with fans including trail rides, camping out and campfire songs. I really hope to do one of those trips someday.

If he gives a darn about what 1 fan thinks, I sure wish he'd stop with the hardcore country & go back to his style of the CBS & early Capitol era. Love his music pre country (I own the entire catalog through Peaks eiter on cd or LP; even BOUGHT a live download from WGV) & nothing after that); despise it after he switched over.

Geff...he's not really doing hardcore country...it's more traditional western. I think he's taken it on as a personal mission to keep the cowboy style of music alive.

I get you, but it's the same thing to me. I thought he was a great singer songwriter in the day!
