While I am very excited about these, and will purchase them, I am still waiting and waiting and waiting for remasters of Playin' To Win, In The Eye Of The Storm, Ghost Riders (!!!) and Los Hombres Malo.
Arista must be asking a lot for those. How is Ghost Riders not remastered yet??? And I'm counting the bogus shitfest releases by the French label Magic or Magik or whatever it is.

Once again "Rock Candy" releases titles I am going to have to have. I should provide them my card number and send releases to me as they are made available.

Special Limited Deluxe Collector s Edition / Fully remastered sound shaped from 24 BIT digital technology / Classic Southern rock featuring 21 minute version of Green Grass And High Tides / 12 page full colour booklet 3,500 word essay, enhanced artwork, rare photos and band involvement. PLEASE WELCOME THE FOUR GUITAR ARMY... Never has there been a more fitting introduction for a band of such enduring stamina and total commitment to the art of guitar soloing. Alongside the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Outlaws were the premiere Southern Rock group operating during the late 1970s, unleashing a superlative selection of rural, country-tinged songs, laced with lashings of deliciously executed lead guitar from not one... nor two... but THREE lead guitarists.
Bring It Back Alive was the band s fourth record, in an era where the double live album was king. It was a time when Kiss, Peter Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rush were benefitting enormously from the release of live recordings, helping to boost reputations and serving as a platform for further success. This album is a double live master class in vintage Southern rock, recorded on the band s 1977 North American tour (one gig in Miami playing to 30,000 screaming fans) when they were affectionately dubbed the Four Man Guitar Army. Aided and abetted by two drummers and guitar wizard Freddie Salem, the album boasts (for the first time) it s fully restored song sequence and a definitive twenty one minute version of the epic Green Grass And High Tides , this is an essential example of the vintage Southern rock sound
Ummmm, not quite ....
The Introduction on the album Bring It Back Alive quite clearly says "Won't you welcome ... The Florida Guitar Army ", the Product Description is none too accurate. (and it's "Florida Guitar Army" on the KBFH show from the same period)
And not sure why the description claims "the album boasts (for the first time) it s fully restored song sequence", when the track listing is exactly the same as the original previous CD release.
Nonetheless, an absolutely classic album, containing the definitive live statement from the band

Right you are! Talk about incorrect hyperbole. The song sequence is the exact same! But damn, it's one of the best live albums ever in a truly wonderful era for live albums.
Four Guitar Army? That's really pathetic! Let's hope that's not in the liner notes, because I assure you Rock Candy (distributed by Universal) is no lame-ass orginization at all. This label is excellent.
I have also been told that there's a good chance those Outlaws albums I have been crying for for many years (including Ghost Riders) may be next, although not for a while.

Got my copy of Bring It Back Alive. It's out in my car and it sounds awesome. Not too loud, not too soft. Everything sounds just right.
I forgot how good this album was. I haven't listened to it in years.
Man, I need this! Missed the sale earlier this month, damm. Still will get it with one of the "Wild Horses" that IP noted. Not sure of the "WH" I will get though.
