Totally one of my favorite albums from the 70s, this will be an immediate purchase (despite the $21.98 list).

Label Description:
Ambrosia released their masterwork with the magical "Life Beyond L.A." Filled with an array of stellar songs written by David Pack,Burleigh Drummond & Joe Puerta, this LP offered an organically band produced project which yielded them massive airplay and one of the finest places ever in pop music history with the brilliant "How Much I Feel." This slice of musical manna topped the charts in 1978 and brought the band a whole new level of stardom. Friday Music is proud to announce Ambrosia's "Life Beyond L.A.-The Deluxe Edition", now enhanced with a 1978 unreleased live concert bonus disc!

AWESOME! I just used the word "apothecary" in an email earlier today, and every time that happens I start singing the Ambrosia song in my head. Love this album and I'm really excited about finally having an officially-released live document of the band in their prime. I saw them in the '90s when they first reunited...and David Pack was still in the band...and they were phenomenal.

Yeah, excited about this as well. Saw Ambrosia at Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ, on Dec 4, 1976 with the Strawbs of all people. Excellent show as I recall.

I did Joebase, I went for the 2nd disc first and really enjoyed it. Well recorded and great to have Ambrosia live on CD. Haven't listened to first disc as of yet.

david pack is such an underrated, and under recorded, vocalist.

his solo material is also pretty good if you at all intrigued by his vocals.

got it! listening to the live disc now.
they're tearing it up for sure. my only
gripe is the band intros over the beginning
of 'holding on to yestearday'. just hate that.
