This is truly insane and ironic as hell. I was just last night going through all the rarities from 1971-now that should still be available. Last night! And then I see this.
It's all here. All of it as far as I can see down to every last stupid, useless remix available.
Of course there are many mixes I probably would not want to sit through, but this is astonishing. So will the price I'm sure.
A must have however.

A little research here-this is approx. $273 US not including S&H fees and such. Also, looks like it's due Apr. 11 or so, and I don't know if it will be issued in the US (i'd have to think so, right?). This is my favorite era of the Stones although I love the 60s as well. Just looking at this gives me chills (of joy and sorrow at how I'm going to justify paying for this-guess all that football money I won might be getting cut into right away!).

Here she is:

According to the link, the price is 170 GBP.

The 12" mix of "Too Much Blood" is missing, as well as the promo-only instrumental version of "Dance Pt. 1". I have a promo 12" of "Emotional Rescue" but I think it's just the album version, not an extended remix. But what's included is more than worth it to me.

Kind of obviates most of my Stones CD singles, but I think I'll keep those too.

I hope they reproduce the withdrawn (and very rare) picture sleeve for "Beast of Burden."

I don't begrudge the Stones fanatics picking this one up, however, did it really need to be done over this many CDs? Couldn't that have consolidated many singles onto one CD? It's just another way to stick it to the fans I guess.

The concept of these types of singles collections is to recreate the original singles in their original sleeves. So that wouldn't really work if you loaded all of this content onto a few CDs.

Going over this track list made me realize that I hadn't heard the B-side "Jump On Top Of Me" in a loooong time. Really like that one. It was also on the "Ready To Wear (Pret-A-Porter)" soundtrack. Just loaded it into the iPod for my walk.

So you can pre-order this now, anyone take the plunge yet?
$300 is a little too much for me (I'm not a Stones completist) though it looks like a real nice set.

Wonder if its limited?

That said, I'm not ordering one just yet--I want to get a better handle on how this thing is going to be rolled out first.

I also want to see what the plans are for US release, etc. after getting burned on the Apple box.

Not to mention that it's also missing the flexi-single "Exile on Main St. Blues"

(Oops, I just mentioned it) :)

Looking more cloesly at the contents of this set...I don't see the "Wild Horses" single from "Stripped" on that list...or last years alternate version of "All Down The Line"...or that ultra-rare 1991 "Jumpin' Jack Flash" single...or the 1991 "200 Light Years" live b-side...but I do see live versions of "Rock And A Hard Place" and "Gimme Shelter" listed for which I'm not sure where they came from--and what is the deal with single #29, with "Angie", "Fool To Cry" and "Waiting For [sic] A Friend"?

There were two different UK CD singles for "Almost Hear You Sigh" (one in a cardboard sleeve, one in a tin) with different tracks on each. Looks like this set is combining all the tracks onto one disc.

Oh I get that, I just think that 45 CDs that are so sparsely filled are overkill.
