*not sure if this is a mistake or not? this wasn't released on the Live In Concert with the CSO album...if this is correct, it looks like the sole unreleased recording included.

My opinion:

Good points: All the obvious selections are included, 22 tracks is a generous length, "Good Morning Baby" included! (Top 20 single in NZ, but never included on any standard editions of Bic's albums)
Bad points: No new tracks. No rarities (apart from "Good Morning Baby" and "Something’s Gotten Hold Of My Heart" - which probably isn't considered a rarity anymore, as it was included on the rarities collection "Try To Remember Everything".) No "Lonely Lola Cherry Cola Girl" (Bic's best B-Side, also featured on the Desert Blue soundtrack, and has never appeared on one of her albums). No "A Day like Today" (Bic's second-best b-side). No "Hey" (a great forgotten flop single from Bic's first album). I didn't really like the live CSO album, and if they HAD to include tracks from it, they should have gone with "Anyone Who Had A Heart".

I met her a few years ago. Beautiful lady, great singer.
Can't say enough about her amazing talent. She should have gone places but decided family came first, gotta admire that.

Based on some positive reviews, I got into her music when her second album, Beautiful Collision, was released in 2002. The first time I listened I wasn't sure about her voice, which seemed a little thin and girlish, but very quickly it grew on me, and the songwriting was incredible. There are hints of Neil Finn, Aimee Mann, and even Burt Bacharach in her songs, and each album has its own vibe. For anyone who's curious, here are a couple of songs from that first album of hers I heard. I don't need this compilation, but it would probably be a good entry point for the uninitiated.
