Preorder placed! A nice inexpensive compilation for those not looking at building an album collection.

Nice collection, but missing some key songs like "Lights Out", "This Kids" and a few others

For those who missed the thread on the Chrysalis box in July, it's still quite inexpensive, & it's also now available from UK 3rd party sellers on the USA site starting at $17

Yep-a typical Music Club collection. Includes SOME of the classics, but baffling ommissions and strange inclusions occur as well. How would you not have "Lights Out" in a 2CD collection???
I wouldn't really recommend this but it has it's qualities (don't know about the sound)-the single disc The Best Of UFO 1974-83 that EMI/Chrysalis put out in 2008 features the new remasters and a totally sensible track list.

My copy cameth not an hour ago and does have better dynamics than I was expecting on most of the tracks having bypassed the cd versions of UFO's albums and didn't sound shut in. I think the notes could be a bit more informative in areas like saying what tracks came from what albums but there are thumbnails of each album with current catalogue numbers for the EMI cds.
