Am I correct in assuming that referring to the YES album as "90210" is a tongue-in-cheek kind of thing?

Nope, a typo.

I thought it was a reference to the fact that when Yes was in limbo in the late '80s, Squire, White, & Rabin were referred to as "Yes West."

I used to joke that they should start a soap opera called Beverly Hills 90125 in which the lead character, Jon, can't decide which version of Yes he wants to be in.

I love it when 20 year old jokes get a chuckle. I still got it!

They sure have slowed down with the 24K releases lately.

Less often (or so it seems) and one disc at a time.

I'd really like to see them go hybrid SACD like MFSL.

They're being remastered by analogue productions. Doug Sax is the engineer. It'll be 45 rpm albums and Hybrid sacds.

That should be awesome (though pricy). I strongly feel that AP are doing the best hi res discs outside of Japan at this time.

Has there been any announcement on this, or just rumors?

The SACD was announced around the time of The Wall immersion box's release. Some were criticizing them for not holding off the box so that it could include the 5.1 version.

James Guthrie is overseeing the project, as usual.

Blu-ray is hi-rez, which probably explains why it wasn't in there.

Besides, SACD is a niche market.

Thanks Trumpetplayer. I remember Steve H. alluding that he may have involvement in this most recent reissue campaign. Oh well.

He did a great job during his DCC days with the Doors catlg.
