According to drummer Vinnie Paul the final unheard piece of music recorded by Pantera will be released on their upcoming reissue of ‘Vulgar Display of Power.’ Pantera officially parted ways due to personal issues in 2003, leaving fans screaming for more of the groove-metal mastery the quartet had provided for more than a decade. Unfortunately those fans would never get the next album they so looked forward to — guitarist Dimebag Darrell was tragically murdered in late 2004 making another Pantera album an impossibility. In a recent interview with Loudwire, Pantera/Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul revealed that there is still one unheard Pantera song that will appear on the upcoming ‘Vulgar Display of Power’ reissue: “The reissue has a song called ‘Piss,’ which I had forgotten about it. Some parts of it were taken for other songs, and at the time, it was the only song that did not make the record. In Pantera, we never had songs that didn’t make the record. If we were going to write 11 songs, then we’d write 11 quality songs. Some bands write 40 songs and then hope they have nine good ones in the bunch. That sucks. Why not concentrate on writing 9 great ones and forget the 31 others? Anyway, this song, at the time, didn’t feel right to go on the record, so we put it on the shelf. When I started digging through archives, we were happy with it. It is the only undiscovered complete Pantera track there ever was and it will be part of the package. It should be cool to hear the first new thing from the band since 2000.” ‘Vulgar Display of Power’ was originally released on February 25th, 1992 and has since sold more than 2 million copies, the reissue is rumored to be available in April. While ‘Piss’ may be the final completed Pantera recording, it was reported that there were Damageplan — the band Vinnie Paul and brother Dimebag Darrell formed after Pantera — recordings near completion at the time of Dimebag’s murder. Even though the reports surfaced shortly after the tragic event, there has been little mention of the unheard Damageplan recordings since.

From antimusic.com:
Rhino have set a May 15th release date for the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of Pantera's 'Vulgar Display of Power'. The two-disc CD/DVD deluxe edition will featurethe previously lost studio recording "Piss" and unreleased live video from the 1992 Monsters Of Rock concert in Italy.
They sent out these details: The collection features the debut of "Piss," an incendiary blast of vintage Pantera from the original recording sessions. It remained lost until Vinnie Paul rediscovered the track while going through the band's vault.
Along with the unreleased song, Vulgar Display Of Power (Deluxe Edition) also features unreleased video of the quartet performing six songs at the Monsters Of Rock show in Reggio Emilia, Italy on September 12, 1992. The set list draws almost exclusively from Vulgar ("This Love," "Rise" "Mouth For War"), but also includes the title track from their previous album, Cowboys From Hell, and a melding of Vulgar's "Hollow" and Cowboys' "Domination," which was a live staple of the band. Video of Pantera performing live during this era is extremely rare, making the DVD one of the few ways to see them in their prime.
