Schizophrenic 30th Anniversary Reissue
On 21 September, EMI Records in the UK will issue a special edition of Ian Hunter's classic 1979 album You're Never Alone With a Schizophrenic. They are marking the 30th Anniversary of this amazing album with a deluxe re-mastered package containing the original LP with bonus tracks plus an extra disc featuring unreleased live performances of the period. Originally released worldwide in April 1979 on Chrysalis Records and was Ian's first release with the label.

nice, I bought the cassette back in '79 (I think I bought that and Kansas Monolith on the same day at Korvettes) never had the cd, but I'll be grabbin this!

There's been a huge price drop on this through Amazon 3rd party sellers. After having totally forgotten about this release for 2 years, I finally ordered one yesterday. Lowest price is $12.59 + s/h

At this price I had to move on this so Thanks Geff. I have the inital CD release but the Expanded went right by me. Not this time. Looking forward to receiving this!

Got it yesterday. Listening to the live cd at the moment. While nothing tops Welcome To The Club, it's still real good. Nice to have a 2nd version of Sons & Daughters (though this version is inferior to the one on Welcome To The Club). Too bad they didn't also include an alternate version of the Welcome To The Club only Silver Needles.

Comparing this with Club it's Interesting how much the arrangements evolved &/or varied during the same tour.

What timing. The copy I ordered when Geff posted about the price drop arrived today and I just popped it in my player.
