Thanks, Invisible.
I look forward to this! Always liked this album. Wish there were more bonus tracks, though. Still, can't wait to finally include that rare promo-only single version of Leather Jacket.

I'll look forward to this too. I have a European CD of the album, but, for unknown reasons, the "side 2" material seems to come from a hissy copy tape.

Bump: this has been pushed back to September 6th.
And if the history of past Iconoclassic releases is any indication, add another one to two months for further postponements. Of course, I'm holding onto my existing CD of the Mick Taylor album.

I got this CD from Amazon yesterday and finally gave it a spin today. It's a very nice sounding remaster (not loud or bright) with excellent packaging, including a nice booklet with a new essay. The label Icon/Classic is actually a Sony label, and the CD looks like the old Columbia label from the vinyl. According to the label on the shrink wrap: Digitally remastered from the session tapes... I hadn't listened to this album in years and never owned the original CD. I agree with the liner notes, it's definitely gotten better with age...

Btw, the bonus track single version of "Leather Jacket" is a slightly different mix, but also includes a tasty guitar solo not on the album version. Now if we could only get an official release (or a clean bootleg) of Dancing with Mr. D. that includes the Taylor guitar solo not on the album version (from Goats Head Soup).
