Is Heather Mills entitled to any royalties from the music Paul recorded during their marriage?

Why would an album as recent as Chaos and Creation need remastering?

I am eagerly looking forward to re-mastered and expanded edition of GOOD EVENING NEW YORK CITY which includes the between song Dialogue and Spoken Word what Sir Paulie said between songs. :-o

I've always hated when live albums remove the chatting between songs...that's what makes a live album a good live album. :ohyes:

Looks like things have changed according to Music Tap:

There’s more Paul McCartney on the way from Hear Music, scheduled for an ‘around the corner’ March 8. These titles are listed as Digital Downloads but will likely hit physical CD status shortly. Expected titles include: Driving Rain (2001) This title had been previously mentioned as coming to CD on May 24, Off The Ground (1993), Press To Play (1986), Tripping The Live Fantastic (1990), and Tripping the Live Fantastic Highlights (1990).

Thanks, IP!

I wonder if Off the Ground will replicate the special edition version that was put out around 1994. It contained an extra disc with several non-album tracks that were on singles from Off the Ground. I have that and really enjoy those extra songs.

I also wonder about Tripping the Live Fantastic. Will the bonus tracks be more songs from the main album??

Doesn't matter. I'm a Beatles zombie. I'll buy them all. :-)

I just hope they're not straight reissues.

I don't get it. Wasn't there some kind of mention in the Band On The Run reissue of forthcoming titles that haven't been mentioned here? I'd love to see some of that dated (but great!) stuff from the Wings era! Like Venus and Mars, Wild Life, At The Speed Of Sound, Over America, Red Rose Speedway. I don't know why, but I've had Back To The Egg on my mind lately. Throw in some bonus tracks on Back to the Egg like the stuff Wings did for the Concerts for Kampuchea! Or better yet, wish they would release that whole thing on CD! That was a good one!

Just received an email alert that "Press To Play" remaster was released on iTunes on March 8th, 2011. No extra tracks.
Checked it out and it's there.

Strange. One of his more polarizing albums; a re-issue would have certainly benefited from additional tracks.

I'm still confused why the Wings era stuff is not being released first...

"Remastered" and "iTunes" cancel each other out.

Yeah, what's the point here? Is there going to be a physical release? No bonus tracks? Just this? If so, what a joke. The album isn't very good anwyay, but still.

Just to stir this up some more:
The Wog Blog last month posted the info below. Not vouching for the guy, but he reportedly was on the mark with early info on the Band on the Run remaster. Also, Norm and Shake at Beatlefan have reported similar details on the next McCartney releases:

"The next batch of releases in the McCartney Archives series, which sees the McCartney album catalogue remastered and upgraded are the twin solo albums "McCartney" (1970) and McCartney II (1980). They will be made available like this:

McCartney:
- 2CD version, the second disc containing rare unedited audio documents.
- 2CD + 1DVD version, also including a 100 pages book.

McCartney II :
- 2CD version, the second disc containing rare unedited audio documents.
- 3CD + 1DVD version, also including a 100 pages book.

The contents of the DVD's as well as details about disc 2 on McCartney and disc 2 and 3 on McCartney II have not yet been relealed. McCartney II was originally planned as a double album before it was trimmed down, so there should be plenty of material to choose from on that one. No release date has been set yet, but we reckon that it's 2011, at least."

It wouldn't! I wouldn't think so, anyway. It's getting to the point where an album needs remastering before it's even mastered in the first place. Pre-remastering. Premastered? Hmmm ...

Can't wait for the remastered version of Paul's next new release!

MusicTAP posted this today:

"On June 7, Hear Music will reissue two Paul McCartney titles in upgraded fashion. The titles include McCartney, the best-selling debut from 1970, and its self-titled sequel from 1980, McCartney II. Each title will be reissued in 2LP, a CD/DVD set, and a Special Edition CD."

Could the first one have the TV special Wings did? I vaguely remember a version of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" on there.

Any speculation on what these two McCartney albums might include?
