• Few artists transitioned from the Disco era as successfully as Evelyn “Champagne” King. Here was an artist tagged as a “Disco Diva” and had set dance floors ablaze with her Disco smash hit ‘Shame’, yet with a new decade and the demise of disco fast approaching, Evelyn was set to shake things up once more.
• Evelyn’s first two albums went Gold. In 1981 RCA teamed King up with two fresh new songwriters and producers, Kashif and Paul Laurence, to deliver her fourth release - I’M IN LOVE.
