There are several cd reissues of Can's Out Of Reach floating around out there, on Thunderbolt (1994), MagMid (1999), Horgi Music/EFA Imports (2003), and Cleopatra (2008), and apparently all are sourced from vinyl as Can has banished the album. Can anyone recommend a specific edition? I have waited to buy this album last due to its spotty reputation, but would at least like to find the best-sounding version. Thanks!

I had this CD many years ago, so it must be the earliest release. I had to EQ it by boosting the lows and highs, but I really didn't like the album at all. The AllMusic Guide agrees: all CD issues are sourced from vinyl. I'm a big fan of Can up until Saw Delight, but "Out of Reach", "Can" and "Rite Time" were quickly sold years ago.
