I actually might go for this...I have the single CD "Then and Now...Best of The Monkees."

Anybody know whether this long mix is actually previously unreleased? I suspect that annotation may refer to the fact that it once was previously unreleased...I haven't pulled them out to compare, but aren't extended mixes of this Neil Diamond song present on both MORE OF THE MONKEES' deluxe edition and the box set MUSIC BOX?

I recall an extended/alternate version of this song popping up somewhere in the whole Rhino reissue program in which one of the Monkees (was it Peter?) provided a sort of spoken play-by-play of the song.

On the More Of The Monkees 2-CD Deluxe Edition from 2006 it's listed as "With Peter's Narration", as AMW described. (Can't recall offhand if it's the same version as on the box set, though.)
