Looks really good......can't have enough Marriott!!

Curious about where the Illinois concert was recorded. I saw Marriott in a club in St. Louis (billed as Humble Pie) around that time. It was he and two unknowns (at least I didn't recognize them) on bass and drums. Unfortunately, Marriott had a broken leg at the time and couldn't move around, but the set list was similar if memory serves.

I've bought so many small label "grey area" Marriott releases (some of them turning out to be the same things just renamed/repackaged different ways) I've given up buying any more. You really need to spend too much time looking thoroughly at what you already have and try to untangle what is what and what is "new" about the "new" one yer thinking of buying. Unless someone has a thorough review of what is in this new thing, and that it is truly new and not something just recycled again, I'll pass.

However, Wapping Wharf is sort of a fan-based label for Small Faces-related material and their past comps have been very good.

This is so true. I think the bottom of the barrel has been scraped a long time ago with Marriott. I would be surprised if this is anything new.

The Bottom of the Barrel of great artists can never be scraped and the scraps of music found from such great artists are a billion times more worthwhie than the crap manufactured bands created by and for the greed of the recording industy.

I haven't seen it listed at Amazon or elsewhere.

I already bought it and think it's very good. the 1975 home studio recording are very good (though slightly rough quality) are very good full band mix of blues and funk. Unfortunately, Beatles fanatic that I am, the cover of Rain is pretty weak....sluggish/all over the place. The rest is nice. The 1983 concert is very good too......lots of sex humor/vulgarities in between and during some songs......don't play it in front of the kids
