The tragic thing about many 1960s footage and audio was at that time they (Record companies, TV Stations and Radio Stations) did not realise how timeless (and valuable) some of this stuff will be 30-40 years later.
The fact The BBC scrapped 1000s of tapes is an example of this.
Many, many lost performances are gone forever.
Thankfully some fans such as the guy who filmed a fragment of The Dusty Show on his 8mm B&W cam we have some rare footage to view.
