I think these reissues are more interesting than the new album by the "New Cars."

Product Description
In honor of The Cars reunion tour, we proudly bring back two long out of print solo albums by original Cars members. Change No Change by Elliot Easton was originally issued in 1985 on Elektra Records. This CD has five bonus tracks not on the original vinyl release. It features a guest appearance by Jules Shear. The Lace by Benjamin Orr was originally issued in 1986 on Elektra Records. It features a guest appearance by fellow Cars member Elliot Easton. Both of these albums cracked the top 100 on the Billboard charts when originally released.

How did Benjamin Orr actually die? He seemed to pass away rather young, right?

I see the Ben Orr CD every so often. I had the album, but I don't feel compelled to buy it. That was quite a year for Cars-related solo albums. Ric Ocasek had one out that year as well.

Be forewarned that the reissues are not remastered even though I believe Elliot Easton has five bonus tracks not on the original vinyl version. "The Lace" album by Ben Orr is a good one. Sure miss him, just important to the Cars as Ric without no disrespect intentions.
