Orbital to release greatest hits collection

May 11, 2009

Recently-reformed dance duo Orbital will release a 2CD greatest hits collection on June 8.

Entitled 'Orbital 20', the album includes new mixes of classic Orbital tracks from the likes of Herve, James Zabelia and Tom Middleton.

Speaking of the album in a statement, one half of the dance duo, Paul Hartnoll called 'Orbital 20' an essential release.

"This compilation is the most definitive summary of our work since 'Chime' came out in 1989", he said. "It's a great introduction, or indeed a reminder, of the story so far..."

The Orbital track that I would guess most people have heard is the theme to The Saint, and I see it's not included here. The price seems a little steep too but I notice it is an import. Maybe we'll get a domestic version of this in the states.
