Product Description
2009 reissue of this live album from the British Blues great, originally released in 1973. Moving On was recorded at the Whiskey A Go Go, Los Angeles on the 10th of July 1972 with the aid of Wally Heider's Mobile Recording Truck. For the first time on CD, this sought after Mayall album is available with involvement from the man himself, who contributed a new interview for the notes describing the making of this seminal work. Nine tracks. Lemon.

Product Description
Two CD release, a reissue of the long unavailable album from the British Blues icon, originally released in 1973. Ten Years Are Gone was recorded at Sunset Sound, Los Angeles and, like its predecessors Jazz Blues Fusion and Moving On, it featured Freddy Robinson on guitar and Blue Mitchell on trumpet. For the first time on CD, this sought after John Mayall album is available, endorsed by John himself, who has contributed a new interview for the notes. 14 tracks. Lemon.

Digitally remastered reissue of this album from the British Blues icon. The title makes a virtue of necessity, as John Mayall introduces another new line-up Two guitarists, High Tide Harris and Randy Resnick, lead the band in more of an up-tempo R&B style than has been used in much of Mayall's music during the past several years, starting with the timely 'Gasoline Blues' (1974 was the year of the gas lines, remember?) and going on to 'Troubled Times' (which advises impeaching President Nixon). For the first time on CD this sought after John Mayall album is available, endorsed a by John himself, and he has contributed a new interview for the notes. Lemon. 2009.

These should be great. Should being the operative word. I've got Lemon's Stealers Wheel discs and they all sound fine but Lemon's Poco re-issue Indian Summer was mastered from vinyl. You can hear pops and scratches all over and the vocals sound like they were recorde in an empty peach can. Proceed with caution, I guess.
