2009 UK 2-CD album set comprising all five albums recorded during their halcyon period at TK: 'Do It Good', 'KC & The Sunshine Band', 'Part 3', 'Who Do You Love' and 'Do You Wanna Go Party'; and includes a frankly stonking 41 tunes. There are also overlooked dancefloor gems like 'I Get Lifted' which was originally the B-side to 'Boogie Shoes'; the venomous horn-attack of 'Come On In' or the rock'n'roll undertow of 'I'm A Pushover'. Stretching from 1973 through to the end of the decade, this is the sound of KC & The Sunshine Band at their best; the type of music to move your shoes, boogie or otherwise.

Just rec'd this, this is a great addition for any fan of KC. It is actually 5 titles in their entirety, including "Do You Wanna Go Party?", which has yet to be actually released on cd.

Great collection! That self-titled album (with "Get Down Tonight"...) is a real sentimental fave. That would likely make a top 25 all-time albums list of mine. Perfect from start to finish. Not kidding.

Looking more closely at this set, I see they didn't include the "Sound of Sunshine" instrumental album (I think it was their 2nd LP). Also, the Rhino issues of the self-titled and "Part 3" albums have 7 or 8 bonus tracks each. But there's no denying this is an excellent set. I'm going to order one because I don't have their first album or "Do You Wanna Go Party?". I'll also hang onto my Rhino's for the bonus tracks.

I love their instrumental version of "Rock Your Baby," the song KC gave away to George McCrae. So I'll hang onto the 25th Anniversary collection from Rhino too. But I'm definitely adding this one to my shopping list.
