I know the Whitesnake deluxe editions of Slide It In and Slip Of The Tongue are being released in the US on 6/30 but there is no word on the 1987 deluxe edition. Does anyone know if this will be getting released in the US ? If not , is the dvd from the EMI version viewable on American dvd players . I have read a few reviews on Amazon and some say it is and others say its not.

No, inexplicably this is not coming out in the US. Makes sense-after all, it only sold 8 million copies here! Also, no, you cannot view it on a US DVD player unless you can receive PAL signals.
I have a player that can, thus I can view it, but on my other players I cannot.
This remaster came out back in 2007 and since then, almost all DVDs from the UK in these packages are region free, but not this one.

Don, there are many USA dvd players that will do Pal with a simple handset hack. Try the Imwan search function for something like "region" & "free" & "hack" & you should find several suggestions. Philips for one, makes several cheap players that will do PAL.
