Phyllis Hyman was the soul diva of the 70s and 80s, known also as 'The Goddess Of Love' and recorded great love songs and enthusiastic uptempos of both a soulful and jazz nature for Buddah, Arista and Philadelphia International. "Can't We Fall In Love Again" is one of her most classic albums and is presented here for the first time on a CD with all the additional tracks recorded for this session but originally omitted due to time restrictions on the vinyl issue on Arista in 1981.

Album includes "Don't Tell Me Tell Her" (also a hit for Odyssey), a duet with Michael Henderson on the title track, "I'm Not Asking You To Stay" (written by Ashford & Simpson) and a feast of great soul music produced by Chuck Jackson and the legendary Norman Connors.
