Have these ever been on CD? I was only a casual listener. Is the debut on CD as well? I know Paul Stanley produced the debut and Todd Rundgren produced "Walking Wild". Also, are these any good? I know it's AOR and "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya" was a good song, but was this wimp rock or pomp rock, or just good AOR?

They were both available as imports, now out of print and going for $25-$40 used at Amazon. Here are the forthcoming Wounded Bird reissues:
Better than average AOR, IMLO. I remember their debut being considered almost prog by WNEW-FM in New York City, kinda like they treated the first Foreigner album.

I have "Explorer Suite" on CD. Think it's English. May have even bought it in the UK. The sound is OK. A little bright in that '80s kinda way, but fine. I always thought the title track was terrific and still do. Bought the CD for that alone. As for the rest, I agree with Linda.
Not as good as the first album. Saw them open for Kiss on the Dynasty tour, and I really liked them. I've had the first release on vinyl, cassette, 8-track and CD. Somewhere, I have a 12" vinyl promo with six live tracks from the 1979 tour.
