In a seemingly never ending series of moves to irritate the fans, Sony/BMG gives Cheap Trick the gift set treatment.
The set, as has been noted on the H&O set, skips some albums. I've noticed in the amazon.co.uk listing, that NEXT POSITION PLEASE, that got left out of the last batch of remasters as far as an actual disc goes, but was exclusively released as an mp3. The mp3 included a previously unreleased track. If the amazon.co.uk listing is accurate, none of these discs include the bonus tracks on the recent remasters, and further, in the case of NPP, doesn't even include the bonus tracks that the original CD issue had (tracks that were only included on the cassette edition back in 1983, when cassettes ruled the roost sales-wise)!
Of course, we'll probably never know what kind of remastering was done on this...
