Considering the fact that the CD is on its way out, there have been a lot of good discs released already this year. This collection looks like a nice one (even though I already have several of the tracks on it.) The old Time-Life R&B collection has always been my favorite R&B set. This looks like it might trump that one.

I wonder if they will be going back in time for future compilations or forward (or both)? I'm much more interested in 50s and 60s R&B than 70s stuff.
