2007 UK 8-track 2-CD album set, recorded live on the band's 1976 world tour, at Nuremberg Messenzentrum Halle, on 28th September 1976; these are complete unedited shows, newly mixed from long lost multi-track recordings made on the famous Rolling Stones Mobile. Each show has a very different atmosphere, with Blackmore switching solos around as the mood takes him, includes an 8-page colour booklet with details of the history of the tour, and rare pictures and memorabilia.

CD 1
1. Kill The King
2. Mistreated
3. Sixteenth Century Greensleeves
4. Man On The Silver Mountain
5. Catch The Rainbow

CD 2
1. Stargazer
2. Still I’m Sad
3. Do You Close Your Eyes

Now this is something I would like to get. I'm hoping one day they release a concert from the Graham Bonnett era. "Down to Earth" is one of the best Rainbow albums. They should release the Castle Donnington show from 1980...the first Monsters of Rock festival.

Any Blackmore from this period is going to be killer. Hard to believe he's frolicking around on stage in tights these days.

I'm a big Blackmore fan and even though I'd rather see him in Rainbow or Deep Purple, Blackmore's Night( :sigh: ) is not bad. It's a complete 360 degree turn for him but it's listenable.

I've read in interviews that he's happy doing what he's doing. Good for him. I don't like his latest group, but I am glad he's still around and playing. Always a chance he might glue those Marshall's back together and strap on the Strat. Until then, there can never be too many vintage Purple and Rainbow sides.

Did they ever play any other tunes besides these in the Dio era? Every live record from this period has the same tracklist.

Some earlier bootlegs have a few more songs from the first album. Stargazer was eventually dropped and Long Live R-n-R was added. Most of the time, this was the set list until Long Live R-n-R came out.
