terence boylan, by far my choice for the artist who should have made it but didn't, has his second (and final) solo album coming out on wounded bird. it is called "suzy", and if you took my advice and picked up his first S/T album, you know just how good this guy was. "suzy" is only hair below S/T and actually has chevy chase doing a piano solo on a song called "miso soup".

get them both while wounded bird still has them, you will not regret it.

Good news about the Bangles, although I have all of those albums on CD (and LP). They need to be in print. A very underrated band.

Been a Terence Boylan fan for years based on his self-titled album, but I've never heard the whole "suzy" album, just the cuts included on a reissue of the first album a few years ago. Thanks for the tip, renny.

I want to give another thumbs-up for the Bangles reissues - especially All Over the Place, which is definitely an underrated classic.

"college life" and "shake your fiorucci(sp?)" are worth the price alone, you'll love "suzy".
