This package contains a remastered version of the Eat To The Beat album, plus a DVD which features the original videos for each song:

This is on my shopping list (of course), but I haven't seen it anywhere. Discorama usually gets promos of everything distributed by EMI, but this is a no-show so far.

Amazon shows it as in stock, ready for shipping. But this actually didn't appear on the American pre-order lists until this week, and it showed a backdated release from June 26th ... very confusing ... beforehand all that showed on the pre-order lists was a UK pressing with a useless DVD (useless for most American players, that is). So I don't know if there's been a distro problem or what. But it is currently orderable from Amazon at least.

I've had mine for a few weeks, had it on pre-order and it shipped early or they moved the date up.

Does anyone know if it's a new remaster for the cd? The videos look and sound great on my system. The last remasters came out on 9/11, same day.

I think it's the last remaster--the copyright dates seems the same...
I bought mine in NYC 4 weeks ago...

B&N is where I saw it too. For what it's worth, the songs are not in the same order on the DVD as they are on the album.

I saw the videos on VHS years and years ago, and can't remember a thing about them. Are they big production-type things or are they closer to the "old school" videos Beck did for his last album?

They're mostly in-studio performances with a little video embellishment:
