2007 UK CD album comprising a 20-track collection from the legendary frontman of Madness, including his cover versions of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Cecilia' [produced by Sly & Robbie] and The Beatles 'I'm Only Sleeping' plus 'Camden Town', 'No More Alcohol' and 'I Am' [as featured on the film soundtrack for The Avengers].

I think I have all his solo albums on CD already. Any idea if this collection offers anything new?

Not sure offhand, TSmith, but there's nothing mentioned in the description about previously unreleased songs. 'Fraid you'll have to check the tracklist against your collection.

These "Platinum Collections" are something of a brand label now in the EU (kinda like the "Golds" and "Essentials" over here). Some of the ones I've gotten do include the odd non-lp b-side, occasionally at the expense of an actual hit or two.

And they are cheap, too. I bought the Peter Shelley one, the guy with "Love Me, Love My Dog".
