I loved Alcatrazz big-time. Great band with Graham Bonnett (ex-Rainbow) singing and Yngwie on guitar. Then Yngwie leaves and they get Steve Vai! This was the 1985 album that Vai appeared on, and it is a Metal masterpiece-progressive, pop, melodic, fusion-it's all there. It was released on Capitol and spent several months on the charts but never made the Top 100 as it should have. MTV only played "God Blessed Video" a few times and that was that.
My question: is this label BGO any good and how is the packaging for their releases? Any help would be appreciated!

I've liked their remastering, generally. The Gary Wright two-fer from last year was especially good. The packaging, not so much. The BGOs I own all came in jewel cases with oversized slipcases. Decent liner notes, definitely not skimpy-feeling, but I just dislike the odd slipcases and I kinda feel obligated to keep them ... makes my collection look "asymmetric".
