The above is a standalone release of the Blu-ray that was included in the recent superdeluxed box set of Pyramid -- as predicted and wished for by Rich.

I will excitedly & somewhat patiently await the eventual stand-alone blu-ray a few months after the super deluxe version is released, like they've done with Turn Of A Friendly Card, Eye In The Sky and Ammonia Avenue.

The release date was more than 3 weeks ago and it's been on backorder at Amazon (and several other retailers I've checked) since then. After patiently waiting for the standalone blu-ray for months after the box set, I'm being slightly less patient now.

You might be right, and it's also possible that third party sellers will start to populate the listing.
Historically, when "Amazon Global Store UK" is shown, it has usually meant that no more American pressings were expected to come into stock.
That's a great point, Linda. I just find it strange that the preorder link disappeared from Amazon a week prior to "release", and everywhere else it changed to Backorder on the day of release. It's hard to imagine that it won't be available as an American pressing after all the previous APP blu-rays were.

I decided not to wait any longer since just about every site I've checked still has this as "backorder" or "out of stock," so I ordered directly from the APP site. Of course, that probably means it will be available at retail shortly.

I got the EJ Diamonds blu-ray last week. It's fantastic. I had the Who's Next box set, mostly for the blu-ray, but when the standalone blu-ray was announced a friend bought the box set from me, and now I'm happy to just have that (it takes up a whole lot less space).
John, your Pyramid blu-ray came from Amazon? It's still showing as not available in the US.
